About Sydney

Sydney grew up in Buffalo, NY, spending the long winters with her nose in a book.Though they tell you not to be, she was very judgmental of the cover art, though it prompted her to pick up some of her favorite books of all time, such as Percy Jackson and Harry Potter. Her family supported her in her reading endeavor, driving her to the library when she wished to go, and when she decided that she wanted to start drawing her favorite characters, they supported her with art supplies. Little Sydney could often be found on the living room floor, painstakingly drawing out the entire cast of characters from her favorite books. 

As she has grown, she has found a great love for storytelling, as well as communicating information to others visually. She discovered a passion for graphic design, as well as her hobbies for photography and illustration. If there is a way to express oneself, rest assured that Sydney has at least attempted it, though if you ask her about the movies that she made and posted to YouTube when she was in middle school, she’ll dodge the question. When she’s not sweating the details of a design project, she can be found trying out a new pasta sauce recipe for her loved ones, taking a good long walk outside despite the weather conditions, or with an 800 page book in her hands.
